Cheese Curds, 8/31: Young Packers prepare for final audition, Bridgewater injury's impact

On Thursday night, the Green Bay Packers will wrap up their 2016 preseason the way they do every year - by sitting their starters and giving the bubble players a lengthy amount of time to audition for roster spots. They also will continue a recent tradition of letting someone other than head coach Mike McCarthy call the plays. Last year was a bit different, as McCarthy stepped back from playcalling for much of the season, but this should be the only game this season when Edgar Bennett has the playsheet.

Meanwhile, a few Packers starters appear ready to go for the regular season.
