Green Bay — Maybe Ohio State's national championship, the Big Ten's first since 2002, will help the conference's running backs reverse a history of mediocrity if not failure in the NFL.

As usual, the Southeastern Conference probably has the best back in the draft in Georgia's Todd Gurley.

However, three Big Ten players — Wisconsin's Melvin Gordon, Nebraska's Ameer Abdullah and Indiana's Tevin Coleman — are rated among the top five, while two others — Michigan State's Jeremy Langford and Minnesota's David Cobb — figure among the top 10.
