In an interview with Sports Illustrated this week, Brett Favre revealed that Ted Thompson sent congratulatory text messages after Favre and the Minnesota Vikings beat the Green Bay Packers twice in 2009. One text read, "Great job." The other, "You played outstanding."
If I were in Thompson's shoes, I probably would have also sent Favre a couple of texts. One would have said "F." Another "U."
I don't have nearly the number of classy bones in my body that Thompson has. The part of my brain that controls how I feel about the Packers was operating on maximum overdrive after Favre beat the Packers twice.
