Mike McCarthy was asked back in March about Jordy Nelson being seen on crutches at a Milwaukee Bucks game and the head coach indicated that the wide receiver had indeed undergone surgery to fix a bothersome hip.
Fast forward to yesterday's public OTA practice, and there was Nelson as a non-participant, still recovering from the "clean up" procedure. Asked about the procedure, Nelson apparently wouldn't even confirm it was his hip that was operated on.
Nelson stated, via Wilde:
It was something that hopefully will come out in about 10 years what we had done.
