The New Orleans Saints and Pelicans organizations issued an update on owner Tom Benson's condition on Sunday.
Benson, who was admitted to Ochsner Medical Center earlier this week with flu symptoms, is "stable" and "continues to get exemplary care for the flu," according to a statement issued by Greg Bensel.
The 90-year-old owner is still in the intensive care unit as he receives treatment.
"Mrs. (Gayle) Benson thanks everyone for their kind support, prayers and well-wishes," the statement read.
News that Benson had been admitted to Ochsner was first released by the organization Wednesday.
