A couple other players named to the list are freshman Markelle Fultz of Washington and senior Monte Morris of Iowa State. GU faces the Huskies in Spokane for the first time in 10 seasons and the Zags won that matchup, 97-78.
Iowa State is part of the eight-team field (along with GU) participating in the Advocare Invitational this November.
This will be Williams-Goss’ first year of eligibility at Gonzaga. The guard transferred from Washington and sat out last season.
Teammate Jordan Mathews is one of 20 players named to the Jerry West Shooting Guard of the Year Award watch list.
