Gonzaga's worldly approach to recruiting

It has been a long time in the making, but Gonzaga has finally gotten over the hump and now heads to the Final Four.

Gonzaga has never done anything the typical way. The Bulldogs became a college basketball powerhouse seemingly out of thin air, out of the West Coast Conference and out of Spokane, Washington. It's fitting, therefore, that the Bulldogs haven't built this year's Final Four team the typical way. In fact, only three players in their eight-man rotation are American-born players who signed with Gonzaga out of high school.
