The duo of Sophie Wittle and Graciela Rosas defeated Nabila Farah and Caitlyn Frankel in convincing fashion, winning 6-0.
In the next doubles match, the Zags came out with another strong performance as Kate Ketels and Haruna Tsuruta defeated Zeina El Tawil and Giannina Ong 6-2.
The Zags did not take their foot off the gas in singles play.
Domonique Garley dominated Ong winning 6-0 and 6-1 to extend the Zags lead to 2-0.
