Before tipoff, the seniors on the team, Makenlee Williams, Kiara Kudron and Elle Tinkle were honored at center court with their friends and family for the accomplishments they had made in a Gonzaga uniform.
“I was quoted saying that they are better people than players and they are really good players,” head coach Lisa Fortier said. “They have helped us win a ton of games and helped us get a ton of recruits and have won a bunch of academic awards but they are wonderful people and teammates. They are caring individuals and hard workers. I am so fortunate to have been able to coach them.
