Alabama-Birmingham won the Shoal Creek Invitational hosted by Graeme McDowell for the first time in school history on Tuesday.
The Blazers placed four golfers in the top 12 and won by 15 shots at 13-under 851. UAB posted a 12-under 276 in the final round to pull away.
"Everyone fed off everyone's momentum," UAB head coach Alan Murray said. "It's a tough golf course with a tough, competitive field, so to come out on top by 15 strokes is a testament to how well our boys played.
