Republican presidential candidate and real estate mogul Donald Trump's bid to stop the building of a wind farm near his luxury Scottish golf course has been shot down by the British Supreme Court.
In a statement after the decision, The Trump Organization called the Scottish "foolish, small-minded and parochial."
The statement read:
"History will judge those involved unfavorably and the outcome demonstrates the foolish, small minded and parochial mentality which dominates the current Scottish Government’s dangerous experiment with wind energy,"
The Trump Organization's words drew the ire of the Scottish National Party's foreign affairs spokesman Alex Salmon, and Prime Minister David Cameron.
