Thorbjorn Olesen finds hope in difficult season, wins Alfred Dunhill Links

For most of this season it looked like Thorbjorn Olesen wasn’t going to get into the winners' circle. His main priority was just to get inside the top 110 on the European money list to make sure he had a job for next year.

He’s now exempt on the European Tour through the end of the 2017 season after his third European Tour win.

Olesen won the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship by two shots with an 18-under total of 270. It’s his third victory since 2012.

Americans Brooks Koepka and Chris Stroud finished joint second at 16 under.
