PXG founder sues TaylorMade for patent infringement

The recent release of a new line of TaylorMade irons caught the attention of PXG founder Bob Parsons. Now, Parsons is taking one of his rival equipment manufacturers to court.

Parsons sent a tweet out Tuesday to nearly 44,000 followers indicating that he had filed a suit in federal court over a potential patent infringement relating to the new P790 irons from TaylorMade:

Taylormade Golf's new P790 irons infringe upon many PXG patents. Sued them in Federal court today!

TaylorMade released the P790 line earlier this month with a price tag of $1,299 per set.
