Pride predicted Web.com win with wallet note

Sometimes all it takes is a little visualization.

In the final event of the Web.com Tour's regular season, 46-year-old journeyman Dicky Pride broke through for a win at the WinCo Foods Portland Open. It was a remarkable achievement, not just because it was Pride's first professional win in more than 21 years, but because it turns out that he had been holding a hand-written note predicting the win all season long.

Pride has bounced back and forth between the PGA Tour and Web.com circuits for more than a decade, but earlier this year he wrote out a prediction and stuck it in his wallet - essentially creating an on-the-go affirmation:

This has been in my wallet for 6 months I look at it every day.
