Matt Kuchar will turn to a trusted caddie from his amateur days — his father, Pete — when he plays in something called The Fiji International. Kuchar said he’ll play in the tournament on the way home from the Presidents Cup “because it’s not that far.”
Well, when you’ve traveled the world, maybe “far” is a relative term, but it’s roughly a flight of 8-10 hours from South Korea to Fiji.
Still, Pete Kuchar said he was up for the challenge and was looking forward to it, but to give you an idea of how much Matt Kuchar loves to travel, his sons, Cameron and Carson, will be making their second visit to the island country.
