Koepka to career best in rankings after Dunhill finish

Brooks Koepka moved to a career-best 12th in the Official World Golf Ranking, thanks to his second-place showing at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.

Koepka entered the week in Scotland 17th in the world.

Fellow co-runner-up Chris Stroud also made a solid move, going from 188th to 124th in the standings. Meanwhile, the tournament winner, Thorbjorn Olesen, jumped 82 spots to 73rd.

Web.com Tour Championship winner Emiliano Grillo rose 24 spots to No. 71.

Tiger Woods is now ranked 311th, two spots behind 2009 PGA Championship foil Y.
