ORLANDO, Fla. — At one of the biggest golf tournaments of her life, Emily Gilbreth learned how to play blackjack.
And one of the best golfers in the world was the one to teach her.
During the 2015 NCAA regionals, Houston’s round was interrupted by rain. So Gilbreth sat with some of her teammates around a table out of the rain when Stacy Lewis walked up with a deck of cards.
“She goes, 'Do y’all want to play blackjack?’ And she taught us to play blackjack,” Gilbreth said. “So here I am learning to play cards from the, like, the third-best women’s golfer in the world.
