Matt Parziale and defending champion Scott Harvey held a share of the lead during stroke-play qualifying at the 2015 U.S. Mid-Amateur on Sunday when play was suspended due to darkness.
Parziale fired a 3-under 69 Sunday at John's Island Club's West Course in Vero Beach, Fla., while Harvey was even with Parziale at 4 under overall with two holes remaining in his second round.
Both golfers are safely within the projected cut line at 5 over, which will determine the field for the 64-man match play event. Sixty-six golfers are at 5 over or better, with 12 tied at 5 over and in line for a potential playoff Monday morning.
