The University of Florida women’s golf team captured its third win in the last four events by winning the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate by one stroke over Oklahoma State at English Turn Golf & Country Club Tuesday.
The Gators were able to hold off a stiff charge from Oklahoma State, who shot the only sub-par round as a team. The Gators finished 5 over for the day and 2 under for the event. Karolina Vlckova led the Gators with a T-3 finish at 4 under. Maria Torres and Taylor Tomlinson each finished in the top 15 for Florida.
