HONG KONG -- Third-round leader Jin Cheng of China won the Asia-Pacific Amateur golf championship on Sunday when heavy rain and high winds forced the cancellation of the fourth round at Clearwater Bay.

Play was suspended with only half of the groups on the course early Sunday. Organizers abandoned play about 3 1/2 hours later.

Jin, who led by two strokes after each of the first two rounds, shot a 1-under 69 Saturday for a 54-hole total of 11-under 199, a one-stroke lead over Australian amateur champion Cameron Davis and his countryman Ryan Ruffels.
