Four national champions will represent the USA in the South American Amateur Jan. 21-24 at Lima Golf Club in Lima, Peru, the USGA announced Tuesday.

Defending South American Amateur champion, Scott Harvey, and reigning U.S. Amateur Four Ball champion, Todd White, will team with 2014 and 2015 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur champions Margaret Shirley and Lauren Greenlief at the event.

Harvey, 37, became the first U.S. player to win the South American Amateur when he edged Peru’s Patricio Alzamore, Chile’s Joaquin Niemann and Brazil’s Andre Tourinho by two strokes last year. The Kernersville, N.C., native also won the 2014 U.
