The Symetra Tour will make history next month when it holds its first Monday qualifier.
The qualifier will take place June 1 at Battle Creek (Mich.) Country Club. The top two finishers will earn spots into that week's FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship.
The maximum field size for the qualifier is 78. The qualifier is open to all amateurs and professionals that have a 4.0 handicap or less.
“Interest in playing in Symetra Tour events continues to grow and we’re excited to host our first Monday qualifier to give local amateurs, professionals, as well as Symetra Tour members not in the field an opportunity to play their way into the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship,” said Mike Nichols, chief business officer of the Symetra Tour.
