Morrison moves into contention at BMW PGA with second-round 66

VIRGINIA WATER, England –– Looks like James Morrison picked the right sport.

The Royal & Ancient game is treating him well right now, but he could be playing cricket instead.

The Englishman won the Spanish Open last week, his second European Tour victory to go with a win at the 2010 Madeira Islands Open. Morrison, who attended the University of South Carolina for two semesters, is on the verge of a bigger win this week after a 6-under 66 in the second round of the BMW PGA Championship.

Morrison’s 66 moved him to 7 under for the tournament, just three shots behind leader Francesco Molinari.
