Warriors Rumors: Andre Iguodala's Contract Will Have No Impact On Kevin Durant's Deal

The Golden State Warriors have managed to re-sign Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston and David West this offseason, but those negotiations and contracts will have no effect on Golden State re-signing Kevin Durant, according to Tim Kawakami of the San Jose Mercury News:

By the way, the Iguodala deal has no effect on Durant’s upcoming deals.

He will sign for a 20% raise from last season’s salary (up to about $31.8M) on a one-year opt-out, then next July will be eligible (and will get) a four-year super-max extension.

Durant is waiting until late July to re-sign with the Warriors, and will sign for less than the max to accommodate the other deals Golden State makes. However, he will be doing so with every intention to signing a four-year max deal similar to what Stephen Curry received from the Warriors earlier this weekend (five years, $201 million).

Durant averaged 25.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game this past season.
