Like the nationwide audience game these two teams played in January, LeBron James and Steph Curry both had stellar performances in tonight’s close, back-and-forth Warrior win. James had 40 points while just missing a triple double with 9 assists and 8 rebounds while finishing in the minus of +/-. After a quiet first quarter, Steph Curry came through with 31 points and 8 assists as well as a couple nifty and timely hockey assists to Draymond Green.
Steve Kerr coached like it was a playoff game, playing 9 men (really 8 ½) while the starters—who were all plus for the game—got heavier than usual minutes.
