LOS ANGELES – The calls often do not go DeMarcus Cousins’ way. Cousins often labors up and down the court. Cousins often feels unfamiliar with the Warriors’ system.
No matter. None of those circumstances have inhibited Cousins from trying. He hopes that one ingredient will accelerate his comfort level after spending nearly the past year rehabbing his left Achilles tendon.
“I only know how to play one way my entire career,” Cousins said. “I’m not coming out trying to be reserved, timid or anything like that. I want to get back into the rhythm of things as fast as possible.
