NEW ORLEANS — Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has an idea for how the NBA could utilize more officials on the court.
A day after the league announced plans to have four- and five-person crews at upcoming NBA Development League games, Kerr offered a recommendation: Have an extra referee devoted exclusively to monitoring potential travel calls.
“I would love it if they had one official who just watched the feet for traveling,” Kerr said after Golden State’s shootaround Tuesday. “I think that’s a good idea because the explanation I always get from officials when I beg for a traveling call is, ‘We don’t look at the feet.
