NEW ORLEANS — Count President Barack Obama among those not deterred by Golden State’s season-opening stumble. In an interview Friday on “Sway in the Morning” on Eminem's SiriusXM channel Shade 45, Obama picked the Warriors to win their second NBA title in three years.
“I'm going to go with the Warriors just because of (Kevin) Durant, that addition,” Obama said. “I think they just have too much firepower. Although they just got spanked in their first game, so it will take a while to figure things out.”
Golden State lost its season opener Tuesday to the Spurs 129-100.
