Draymond Green went through his usual game-day routine Monday morning during the Warriors’ shootaround - taking passes from assistant coach Luke Walton, launching shots, smiling and joking.
But the routine will take a notable detour Monday night, when his team seeks its second consecutive NBA championship. Green’s one-game suspension, in the wake of his fourth flagrant-foul point of the postseason, will keep him out of Game 5 of the Finals against Cleveland.
Green will watch the Warriors-Cavs game on television in a suite at the adjacent Coliseum, according to ESPN’s Marc Spears.
