Instant Replay: Curry stays hot as Warriors hold off Nuggets

OAKLAND -– The concerns about a Warriors letdown were buried so early that when it finally came, it was too late for the Nuggets to take advantage.

The Warriors built a 30-point halftime lead and kept their record spotless (6-0) by cruising to a 119-104 victory over Denver Friday night before the 138th consecutive sellout crowd at Oracle Arena.

Steph Curry poured in a game-high 34 points to lead five Warriors scoring in double figures. Harrison Barnes put in 21 points, Klay Thompson 18, Festus Ezeli 16 and Draymond Green added 12.

The Warriors controlled the glass, grabbing 53 rebounds to 43 for the Nuggets, and held Denver to 43-percent shooting.
