With the Houston Rockets going out and getting Chris Paul, the Golden State Warriors suddenly have a little more competition at the top of the Western Conference. The Rockets are trying to shift the balance of power in the west and give themselves a chance to compete for an NBA Championship.
They assembled a fantastic roster last season, but it wasn’t enough to get past the San Antonio Spurs. Adding a point guard like Paul alongside James Harden is either going to be a bit of a mismatch or turn into something fantastic under Mike D’Antoni’s offense.
