After a furious 14-0 fourth quarter run, the Golden State Warriors were down just three points with 18 seconds left in Game 1 of their playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers. After their downstate rivals had controlled much of Tuesday night’s contest, the Dubs seemed to be in pretty good shape with their home fans in a frenzy and maybe the best 3-point shooter in NBA history wearing their jersey.
And yet.
