David Lee played five seasons for the Warriors, and was a part of last year's championship squad.
Despite the fact Golden State traded him to Boston last July, Lee continues to root for his former squad.
"I cheer for them. I absolutely cheer for them, unless we're playing against them," Lee told Adi Joseph of the Sporting News on Monday night. "They deserve the things that are happening for them because, not only are they a great team, but a great group of guys.
"It's very well documented how close all of us are, and it was great to see them and go to the White House.
