The NBA All-Star Game saw a six percent spike in viewership from a year ago with the Bay Area producing one of the top local markets for viewership.
According to Turner Sports, which broadcasted the game on TNT, San Francisco produced a 9.4 rating for Sunday's game -- the fourth-best rating among local markets. Only San Antonio (12.4), Oklahoma City (9.9) and Cleveland (9.7) ranked higher.As for the All-Star Saturday Night festivities, which saw the Warriors' Klay Thompson beat teammate Stephen Curry to win the Three-Point Contest, included Draymond Green in the Skills Challenge and featured San Jose native Aaron Gordon in the Dunk Contest, the San Francisco market had the second-highest local rating at 6.
