SAN ANTONIO — It’s no surprise that arguably the best Warriors team in franchise history just achieved the greatest accomplishment in NBA postseason history ahead of next week’s Finals.

Golden State thrashed its way to a 12-0 start in the playoffs, destroying anything in its path en route to sweeps over Portland, Utah and San Antonio. It played sloppy at times, including Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals where 17 turnovers gave way to 24 points, but at no moment were the Warriors ever threatened against the Spurs or at any other point since April 16.
