3 reasons the Golden State Warriors should target Nikola Mirotic

The New Orleans Pelicans seem to be inching closer and closer to dealing Anthony Daivs to the Los Angeles Lakers. If they do so, the Golden State Warriors should then inquire about the asking price of Nikola Mirotic.

Averaging 16.7 points per game, Mirotic has been having his best professional season. Shooting around 45% from the field, Mirotic has been at the top of his game in both production and efficiency.

Making $12.5 million this season and a free agent this offseason, Mirotic is on an expiring contract. For some that could be a plus and for others a minus; however, for Golden State, it’d be a huge reason to trade for the five-year veteran.
