Warriors' Barnes to miss most of seven-game road trip

The return of Harrison Barnes to the Warriors lineup is at least one week away.

The fourth-year forward, who sustained a sprained left ankle on Friday and sat out a win over Sacramento on Saturday, will be reevaluated next weekend at the soonest, the Warriors confirmed Sunday night.

Barnes had played in 205 consecutives games, including postseason, prior to missing the game against the Kings. The Warriors earlier Sunday ruled him out of the game at Utah on Monday.

Barnes will miss at least the first four games of the seven-game road trip, and interim coach Luke Walton stressed on Saturday that there is considerable uncertainty surrounding Barnes’ return.
