Game 4: Tune-Up

Early in the Warriors’ season, Steve Kerr talked about waiting for the right moment to teach a lesson.  When the Warriors lost on November 11, 2014 to the San Antonio Spurs, Kerr used it as an opportunity to stress the importance of valuing possessions and reducing turnovers.  The Warriors responded and won the next 16 straight games.  In the first three games of the Warriors’ playoff series against the Pelicans, the team failed to consistently generate the type of ball movement that had been one of its great strengths all season.  The stagnation of their offense hit a low point in Game 3 and should have cost them the win.
