Technical Tidbits 8/23: Tre Swilling continues family legacy, Marcus Georges-Hunt inks training camp deal with C's

Paul Johnson and the football staff continue to roll on the recruiting trail, having secured commitment number twelve of the 2017 cycle yesterday afternoon when four-star cornerback Tre Swilling chose Tech. Swilling, the son of Tech great Pat Swilling, elected to continue his father's legacy on the Flats over offers from Alabama, LSU, Michigan, Ole Miss, USC, and others. The defensive back depth of this coming class continues to be highly impressive; it now features two four-star corners in Swilling and Gentry Bonds plus a slew of other talented players to add to Tech's secondary. It's also possible that Swilling's brother, four-star RB/LB Bruce Swilling, could also choose Tech in the coming days.
