In familiar fashion to what Tech fans have seen all year, the Jackets hung with an ACC powerhouse for the first 20 minutes before collapsing in the second 20. After shooting 58% in the first half, the Jackets had a 4 point halftime lead. Tech went on to shoot just 31% in the second half, including a 5 minute scoreless stretch, between which Duke stretched a 5 point lead into a 17 point lead, putting the game out of reach for good.
The Jackets had no answer for Grayson Allen who got hot early and never looked back.
