ATLANTA - Brandon Wright of GSU football is this week's Georgia State Student-Athlete of the Week, powered by the U.S. Marines.
Sophomore Brandon Wright set Georgia State single-game school records for field goals (4) and points by kicking (15) in the Panther's 33-30 victory at Texas State that earned bowl eligibility. Wright helped the Panthers secure their fifth straight road victory and win for the sixth time in their last seven games.
Wright also had six touchbacks on eight kickoffs, and he punted three tiems for a 46.3-yards average and net, including a 66-yard boot.
