ATLANTA- Georgia State volleyball and beach volleyball squads earn recognition for their accomplishments in the classroom. Both teams received American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award, announced on Monday morning.
The award, launched in 1992-1993 academic year, recognizes teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.3. Both of our teams performed well above this requirement. The beach volleyball team finished the academic year with a 3.73 average GPA. While the court squad ended the spring semester with a 3.51 GPA.
