ATLANTA -- Georgia State baseball players are honing their skills in collegiate summer leagues across the country. Several Panthers are playing locally in the Atlanta-bases Sunbelt League, but others are scattered from Ohio to Wisconsin to Washington.

* Junior outfielder Luke Leonard is leading the Everett Merchants (Pacific International League) with a .467 average.
* Junior catcher Nick Gatewood is hitting .314 with one homer and 12 RBI for Lakeshore Chinooks (Northwoods League).
* Senior second baseman Will Kilgore is hitting .316 with two homers, 10 RBI and 15 runs scored for the Lima Locos (Great Lakes League)
* Senior pitcher Tanner Thomson has 13 strikeouts in seven innings for the Brookhaven Bucks (Sunbelt League)
* Junior outfielder Darius Sewell leads the Norcross Astros (Sunbelt League) with six RBI.
