ROME, GA - Georgia State fell 4-0 to Old Dominion in the Sun Belt Conference Championship Quarterfinals.
The Panthers put up a strong fight in their doubles matches, but the Monarchs ultimately secured the doubles point along with three singles matches. Alba Retortillo and Maria Paredes managed to win sets in their respective matches on lines No. 1 and 2, but these matches remained unfinished.
Retortillo's time at Georgia State, spanning a single year, comes to a close. In her brief time with the Panthers, the fifth-year senior left a significant mark, immediately contributing to the team upon joining.
