Huntington, W.Va. -- Matt Ruiz, JoJo Jackson and Will Mize combined for 14 RBI as the Georgia State bats carried the Panthers to a 17-8 win in the series finale at Marshall (15-32, 8-16 Sun Belt).
After falling behind 3-0 after two innings, Georgia State exploded for 12 runs over the next three innings to take a 12-8 lead.
Ruiz hit a 2-run homer to give the Panthers (23-26, 11-13 Sun Belt) their first lead in the third inning, and then he smashed a 3-run blast in the fourth inning for a 9-5 advantage.
