Why banning kickoffs in CFB is a terrible idea for not just UGA but everyone else

That’s right. College football as we know it could be a lot different. Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports reported Monday that the American Football Coaches Association board of trustees and the NCAA Division 1 Football Oversight Committee have been in talks about banning the kickoff in college football.

What is the reason you ask? It is all about player safety. The NCAA is looking further into the matter brought up by the AFCA even though the issue has been lightly discussed in the past by people around the sport.

The NCAA is still in the preliminary stages of looking into this situation, and nothing should happen until after the 2017 season if anything is indeed changed according to Dodd.
