There was a time when the Georgia Bulldogs seemed to be the clear, undisputed (or at least not much disputed), favorite for JaCoby Stevens (Murfreesboro, Tenn.).
Everything Stevens said about Georgia, and its staff, was so positive, it wasn’t a stretch to believe he would end up choosing the in the end.
However, it now seems Georgia has lost so much ground to Alabama, they may not be able to get it back.
Which, if true, is unfortunately.
The fact that Stevens’s waning interest comes on the heels of the following statement, by Coach Kirby Smart, regarding the state of Georgia’s secondary, is just added fuel:
