Let’s cut to the chase, the Bulldogs lost a good one Sunday afternoon.
Breon Dixon committed to Georgia on Christmas Day, and was the second piece of what was already looking to be a star-studded 2017 recruiting class.
Even though Dixon admitted he was a Florida fan–and grew up cheering for the Gators–he said he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to join-up with the new culture Coach Kirby Smart would bring to UGA.
So, when he de-committed, I was a bit surprised …until I read his statement.
The part that jumped out for me was when he said UGA would remain high on his list if they “continued to recruit” him.
