Georgia QB Jacob Eason leaves season opener with knee injury

ATHENS, Ga. — Georgia sophomore quarterback Jacob Eason left Saturday’s game against Appalachian State in the first quarter with a left knee injury.

He has been classified as “out for now.”

Eason was injured on a tackle out of bounds in the Bulldogs’ third offensive series of the game. He had to be helped off the field by Georgia sports medicine staff.
