Former Georgia football tight end Benjamin Watson has always been known for showing tremendous character off the field. Next Saturday, Watson will put on a show for children in New Orléans.
At 11:30 a.m. on July 21, as part of Carnival Cruise Line’s exclusive partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Watson is hosting a book reading to over 100 children. The children come from various local youth organizations. Watson will even wear the Dr. Seuss red and white striped hat as he reads Horton Hears a Who inside a bright, over-sized tent at the Port of New Orléans, similar to one you’d see in a Seuss book.
